Dear Mr. Boyd:
POTENTIAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ADJACENT TO CRBRP SITE The CRBRP Project has recently become aware of potential additicnal industrial development in the Clinch River Consolidated Industrial Park (CRCIP). The location of this area is shown in Figure 2.2-2 of the PSAR (enclosed). Present discussions involve the sale of U. S. Government-owned land (presently in the custody.of the TVA) in the CRCIP to the City of Oak Ridge for ultimate use by an undisclosed company to engage in development and manufacturing activities in support of gas centrifuge separations programs.
The Project has reviewed the information supplied to date and foresees The no impact from this development upon the safe operations of CRBRP.
Project will continue to keep the NRC st'.ff informed of developments on this proposed project.
