U .S. h u, TLE CH heACRSSubcommitteeonPlantArrangementswillhdk,"open~mkEdbfg on October 25, 1978 in Room 1046, 1717 H St., N.W., Washington, DC 20555, to begin its review of the NRC Generic Issue, Systems Interaction in Nuclear Power Plants, Task A-17, and to review the Zion Station Systems Interaction Study. Notice of this neeting was published September 21,1978 (43 FR 42826) .

In accordance with the procedures outlined in the Federal Register on October 4,1978 (43 FR 45926), oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordings will be permitted only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Subcommittee, its consultants, and Staff. Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the Designated Federal Employee as far in l advance as practicable so that appropriate arrangements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements.

We agenda for subject meeting shall be as follows:

Wednesday, October 25, 1978 8:30 a.m. until the conclusion of business.

% e Subcommittee may meet in Executive Session, with any of its consultants who may be present, to explore and exchange their prelimi-nary opinions regarding matters which should be considered during the neeting and to formulate a report and recommendations to the full Com-mittee.

.,e At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Subcommittee will hear presentations by and hold discussions with representatives of the NRC Staff, the Comannwealth Edison Company, and their consultants, pertinent to the agenda items. 'Ihe Subcommittee may then caucus to determine whether the r.atters identified 4 'tial session have been adequately covered and whether the projet. :ady for review by the full Committee.

Further information regarding topics to be discussed, whether the meeting has been cancelled or rescheduled, the Chairman's ruling on requests for the opportunity to present oral statements and the tine allotted therefore can be obtained by a prepaid telephone call to the Designated Federal Employee for this meeting, Mr. Robert L.
