Dear Mr. Cranwell:

I have received the March 1988 monthly letter status report for FIN No. A1763, "Evaluation, Validation, Verification, and Documentation of the IMPACTS-BRC Computer Code." The status report accurately reflects work accomplishments in the reporting period.

I have the following additional comments regarding information in the status report.

The contracting documents for obligation of FY88 Funds ha'<e been reviewed and accepted by the NRC. At the time I wrote this letter, only receipt of the signed NRC Form 173 from Sandia was required for completion of the FY88 obligation process.

Materials described in Item 6-C, NRC Furnished Materials, have been sent to E.L. Emerson, the principal investigator for this contract, under separate cover. A list of the documents sent to Dr. Emerson is enclosed for your information.

As you already know, Chad J. Glenn has replaced me as the NRC Project Manager for work under this FIN (A1763). All further inquiries and correspondences in relation ta this contract should be directed to Chad. His phone nunber is (301)or(FTS)492-0567.

Actions resultirg from this letter are censidered to be within the scope of FIN No. A1763 and no changes to cost or schedules are authorized.
