Dear Mr. Grimsley:
It is our understanding that your of fice recently received a Freedom of Information Act Request from the law firm of Kirk-patrick & Lockhart on behalf of its client Suffolk County, New York, requesting materials relating to the recently promulgated NJclear Regulatory Commission rule amending 10 CPR S 50.47(c) and 10 CPR Part 50, Appendix E, 52 Fed. Reg. 42,078 (November 3, 1987).
This request is identified as No.87-794.
On behr.lf of our client, Long Island Lighting Company, I am writirg pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C.
5 557 (1982), and rules issued thereunder,10 CFR Part 9, Subpart A (1987), to request copies of all documents and correspondence provided to Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in response to their request described above, and copies of all further correspondence written i
