LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2 Response to DRAFT NRC Staff Positions -
Emergency Plans NRC Docket Nos. 50-373/374
Dear Mr. Bournia:
This is to document the action to be taken by Commonwealth Edison in response to DRAFT NRC Staff positions received on November 21, 1978 relative to LaSalle County Station Emergency Plans.
As was indicated in our telephone conference of November 30, 1978, Commonwealth Edison will issue voluntary amendments to the LaSalle County FSAR adopting the positions suggested as modified with the concurrence of you and your Staff.
In addition, Commonwealth Edison agrees to inform the State of Illinois that the text of LAGRELO is inconsistent with the action diagrams contained therein.
Furthermore, Commonwealth Edison agrees that GSEP and all of the answers to questions on the LaSalle dockets will constitute the emergency plan for LaSalle County Station.
It is also our understanding based on your comments that previous commitments documented in the Commonwealth Edison GSEP satisfy the NRC position relative to annual exercises to demonstrate the c.apability of communication links with state and local agencies (Q432.2.2).
No further response is required relative to that position (0432.2.2).
