COST ANALYSIS OF TRIAL PROGRAM FOR SUPPLYING NUREG DOCUMENTS TO PARTICIPANTS IN HEARINGS Attached is the cost analysis the Staff prepared in response to our August 22 request on behalf of the Commission that such an analysis be submitted within one week..
After considering the additional background provided in the attached memorandum, please send us your coiments or confirm your earlier comments on Jim Kelley's August 17 memorandum:
Providing NUREG Reports Without Charge to Parties with a Demonstrated Interest in NRC Proceedings.
Our records indicate a desire to proceed with a trial program from Commissioners Gilinsky, Bradford, and Ahearne, requests for Staff study from Chairman Hendrie and Commissioner Kennedy.
The Chairman requested additionally that the paper be included in SECY-77-391A, a deferred paper on the subject of procedural benefits for intervenors.
