NRC-39-88-232 Modification No. 1 Page 2 The purpose of this modification is to extend the contract term through May 31,.1988, at no additional cost to the Government.
Accordingly, the parties agree to the following changes:
A. Paragraph C.1.3 "Installation Schedule", is revised to read:
"The final installation of the video cabinets shall be completed by March 9, 1988."
- 8. Paragraph F.3 "Duration of Contract Period", is revise ~d to delete the date "February 6, 1988", and to suhutitute the date "May 31, 1988" in lieu thereof.
C. Both parties agree that the contract term is being extended through May 31, 1988 at no cost to the Government, to allow sufficient time for:
(1) The Government's reconsideration of the need to acquire the terminated equipment under this contract, rather than to proceed with the termination as considered earlier.

(2) The negotiation and preparation of a settlement agreement as a result of the "Notice of Partial Termination for the Convenience of the Government", dated December 15, 1987; The contractor agrees that in the event that the Government proceeds with the termination, no additional termination costs will accrue as a result of this extension.
D. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain unchanged.
