Reference:
Letter from TVA to NRC dated February 29, 1988 The referenced letter is cancelled.
TVA commits to extend the qualified life of the silicone rubber cables for the full life of the plant before the return to service from the first refueling outage after restert (unit 2 cycle 3).
The exact plans for the qualification program will be provided at a later date, It should be noted that the silicone rubber-cable installed at SQN currently has a qualified life of ten years of service plus the ability to withstand accident conditions.
The commitments made in the letter are listed in the enclosure.
