50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 - NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS 50-259/84-12, 50-260/84-12, AND 50-296/84 RESPONSE TO NRC CONCERNS Please refer to my September 28, 1987, letter to you which provided TVA's supplemental response to the subject report.
As part of TVA's continuing effort to comply with the reporting requirements of 10 CFR 20.408(b) and 409(b), a new administrative check-in/ check-out procedure for termination exposure reporting requirements is being developed and implemented at each TVA site and corporate offices. This procedure is presently scheduled to be completed by May 18, 1988. This date does not meet the original March 4,1988 commitment date, but will allow this procedure to be reviewed through a more stringent and thorough review process of the nuclear procedures system in the Office of Nuclear Power. An extension of this response submittal due date to March 18, 1988, was agreed in a conference with Al Ignatonis of your staff on March 4, 1988.
