This letter is to inform you that, pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 6 50.92(a)(4), the Staff made a final no significant hazards determination and issued the amendment expandino the St. Lucle, Unit 1, spent fuel storage capacity from 728 to 1706 fuel assemblies. On March 11, 1988, copies of the amend-ment and the supporting safety evaluation were di'stributed to the Board and parties by transmittal memo dated March 11, 1988 ( Attachment 1). Copies of the Environmental Assessment and the notice of issuance of the assess-ment and finding of no significant impact (53 Fed. Reg. 7065, March 4,1988) were distributed to the Board and parties by a similar memo dated Feb-ruary 29,1988 (Attachment 2).
