Dear Mr. Wangler:
Enclosed for your information is a copy of the inspection report on the fabrication of the LHRL-120 spent fuel transportation cask (Certification USA /0389/B(U)F) fabricated by Circleville Metal Works for the Australian Department of Transport.
The inspection was conducted January 11-14, 1988 by the Vendor Inspection Branch of the Nuclear Regulatory Connission (NPC) at the request of the Australian government.
Copies of the report have been provided to the Australian Department of Transport and the Ilustralian Embassy requested that the NRC send a copy of the report to the Department of Transportation.
