This is in response to your letter of November 14, 1977, in refer-ence to the inspection conducted at Surry Power Station on October 4-7, 1977, and reported 1n I.E. Inspection Reports 50-280/77-30 and 50-281/77-30.
We have reviewed your letter and the enclosed inspection report.
Our response to the specific non-compliance item is contained in the attach-ment to this letter.
We have determined that' no proprietary information is contained in the reports. Acco dingly, the Virginia Electric and Power Company inter-poses no objection to these inspection reports being made a matter of public disclosure.
