3 Needless to say, I am disappointed to have had to cancel my trip to Europe this September, and the opportunity to visit with you in Belgrade. Mrs. Kennedy and I want to thank you for the very kind invitation to stay at the residence during our visit.
I would appreciate your conveying my thanks to those of your staff, particularly Ed Malloy, for all their efforts on my behalf in arranging what promised to be a most worthwhile program of meetings and facility visit in Yugoslavia. Thank you for expressing my regrets to FSFA Nuclear Coordinator Ambassador K1jun and smoothing over any inconveniences this may have caused him or the Yugoslav agencies involved.
I am looking forward to another opportunity to visit Yugoslavia and the opportunity to see you then.
