CP-87-45 (FINAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On January 11, 1988, we notified you by our letter, logged TXX-88061, of a deficiency involving RCP motor backup circuitry which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
This report is submitted to provide the corrective action completion schedule.
Our previously specified corrective action includes the addition of a second set of electrically independent current transformers with relays and interconnecting wiring with the 125 V DC power to the primary and backup protection circuits being supplied from independent sources.
Unit I corrective actions will be completed prior to plant heatup (currently scheduled for December 1988). Unit 2 corrective actions will be completed prior to Unit 2 fuel loading.
Very truly yours,
