STAFF REQUIREMENTS - SECY-96-261 - MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION FOR COOPERATION IN SUPPORT OF SIGNIFICANT PR9JECTS AND ACTIVITIES The Commission has approved the subject Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Energy.
After approval and execution of the new MOU, the staff should j
consider whether the existing MOU between NRC and DOE of February 24, 1978, should be revised so as to eliminate redundancy and preserve more concisely special features of that MOU.
