COMANCHE PEAK STEAN ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET N05. 50-445 AND 50-446 EQUIPMENT CONDUli INTERFACE SDAR CP-85-39 (FINAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On January 11, 1988, we notified you via our report logged TXX-88035 of a reportable deficiency involving conduit which was not installed in accordance with design documents.
The purpose of this letter is to status corrective actions implemented to date and to correct a statement made in our -last interim report, logged Txx-88035.
Specification 2323-ES-100, Appendix K and Section III, has been modified via Design Change Authorization (DCA) 61927, Rev. 1, to require that' conduits shall not be installed to equipment outside vendor allowed areas without engineering approval.
A revision to QC inspection procedure HQA-3.09-3.03 will not be required since this procedure currently requires that conduit be inspected in accordance with Specification 2323-ES-100, Appendix K, paragraph 3.3.1, which was modified by DCA 61927, Rev. 1.
The above change to Specification 2323-ES-100 is sufficient to correct the subject deficiency and no other changes to the specification or QC inspection procedure are required.
