- Yes, if WCN00 should decide to further investigate the ISAP II program, it may be necessary to explore aome of our concerns as well ao details of the NRC objectives.

information do you need in order to make a decision?
VCN00 would require information that will help us evaluate the potential costs and benefits, specifically:
- The resources required with respect to the IPE approach (which is a
somewhat dependent on the IPE Generio Letter).
- The magnitude of potential generio issues at WCGS.and other - PRA j
resolution options.
- The programmatic procedure for modifying schedules.

- The additional (if any) submittals that would be required to meet the i
IPE requirements.

-There appears to be limited flexibility in the ISAP II achedule to f
optimize utility resources.

-There is no option for the utility to withdraw from the ISAP II.

Do you have any suggestions for program improvements or changes?
The ISAP II and the proposed IPS appear.to be closely related.
Consideration should be given to incorporating the two programs _ into l
