This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated April 9,1997, which transmitted Revision 7 to the Physical Security Plan, submitted under the provisions I

of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

Based on your determination that the changes did not decrease the effectiveness of your physical security plan and after limited review of the changes, no NRC approval was required in accordance with 50.54(p). These changes will be inspected to confirm that the changes did not decrease the effectiveness of your security plan during a future inspection.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
