TRIP REPORT FOR BROWNS FERRY SITE VISIT - FEBRUARY 4-5, 1988 l
I Listed below are the significant findings and accomplishments resulting from my site visit to Browns Ferry (EFN) from February 4-5, 1980:

Attended trainirg course, "General Employee Training 3.1, Plant Security l
j snd Emergency Plans". This course was completed satisfactorily with a j
passing grade on the examination. When a course in Health Physics is completed, unescorted access to the protece.ed area will be accomplished.
Het with Terry Riley of Pat Carrier's Regulatory Licensing Group.
i Reviewed the proposed agenda for the Audit of Centrol Room and Procedures Generation Package. The audit is scheduled for tive days, comencing Monday, February 22, 1988. This was a very detailed review of the items I
to be covered. The licensee is considered to be prepared for exercise.
4 I was introduced to as many of Mike May's staff in Site Licensing as were i
available.
I discussed the need for coordination with Browns Ferry during

the staff review of the Nuclear Performance Plan for Browns Ferry Nuclear j
j Plant, Volume 3.
t I net with the Resident Inspectors and accompanied them during a regularly 1
scheduled debriefing with the Plant Manager, to when I was introduced by the Senior Pesident Inspector.
