REVIEW 0F REVISIONS 7C, 7D AND 7E TO THE GENERATING STATIONS EMERGENCY PLAN
Dear Mr. Wallace:
Between January and September 1994 we received Revisions 7C, 70 and 7E to certain sections of the Generating Stations Emergency Plan, which contained generic emergency planning information for all of your nuclear stations. We have reviewed these revisions and determined that they are acceptable and do not degrade the effectiveness of your emergency planning.
The revisions acceptably incorporated terminology and guidance in the current revisions of EPA's protective action guides and NRC's response technical manual. Associated changes included revisions to decision making tools for developing offsite protective action recommendations. Commitments on the activation and operation of the corporate emergency operations facility (CEOF) were improved.
Revisions were made to a number of emergency response positions, mainly in the CE0F and the nearsite E0F. These revisions included:
additions and deletions of positions; reassignment of certain responsibilities; and clarifications of duties and interfaces.
Revisions 7C through 7E also included relatively minor information updates and editorial changes.
