REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE FINAL TERMINATION SURVEY REPORT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH AGN-20lM RESEARCH REACTOR This concerns your letter dated April 13, 1994, and the enclosed report on the final termination survey of your AGN-20lM research reactor license. A technical review of the survey report was initiated by the NRC's contract support laboratory, Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (0 RISE). Enclosed is the letter and attached comments dated July 26, 1994, summarizing the initial ORISE review of your survey report.
l We have reviewed the ORISE report, and the questions and comments provided were the subject of a telephone conversation held July 27, 1994, between Dr. David M. Slaughter of your organization, and Dr. D. Blair Spitzberg of my staff. During this conversation, we discussed the need for additional information to address the ORISE comments and questions. We request that you provide this office your response to the ORISE report and the additional information requested therein, so that we can continue our review.
