Dear Mr. Calvo:
This letter provides a revised implementation date for Public Service Company of Colorado's (PSC) program for Generic Letter 83-28.
In Reference 1, PSC described the Fort St. Vrain program for Generic Letter 83-28 and stated that administrative controls for the program were scheduled for implementation by December 31, 1987.
During the development of these administrative controls, PSC determined that a program modification was required, to reduce the number of overlapping reviews of the same vendor information.

P-88044 Page 2 February 5, 1988 PSC is in the process of revising our program to meet the Generic Letter 83-28 objectives in a more concise manner.
However, due to the recent efforts associated with the Fort St. Vrain fire recovery and plant restart, the administrative controls for this program will not be implemented until May 1, 1988.
