DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-4M TilRU WALL EMBEDDED CONDUIT SLEEVES SDAR: CP-86-32 (FINAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On April 21, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F. Westerman of a deficiency involving thru wall embedded conduit sleeves.
Specifically, review of Nonconformance reports (NCRs) E86-101061, E85-101212 and E86-100397, 1
indicated that some sleeves were not identified (by number) and may be overfilled. Our latest report on this issue, logged TXX-6900, was submitted on October 30, 1987.
As noted in our last report on this issue, collection of the Unit 1 as-built data is complete. Our evaluation of this data with regards to cable derating, fire seal integrity, divisional train separation, system interaction and installation verification criteria have not identified any deficiencies meeting the requirements for reportability under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
j The effect of cable pulling tension is currently being evaluated in SDAR CP-86-71.
Field Verification Procedure THE-FVM-EE-023 is continuing for collection of as-built data in Unit 2.
In the event deficiencies are identified meeting the requirements for reportability under 10CFR50.55(e), additional notification will be provided.
