i SEABROOK DECOMMISSIONING FUND DOCKET NO. NDFC 87-1 EIETg gg3333ggETA&9EDEE ORDER OF NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Nuclear Decommissioning Financing Committee (NDFC), established
' pursuant to RSA 162-F:15, shall continue the p: blic hearing process in accordance with RSA 541-A et seq. by holding hearings to receive testimony and information o:1 Thursday, March 3, 1988, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
and ;trom 7:00 P.M.
to 10:00 P.M.,
and on Friday, March 4, 1988 fron 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
The hearings will be held at the Seabrook Community g
Center located at 311 Lafayette Road, Seabrook, New Hampshire.
The hearings shall begin on March 3, 1981) with statements and commentit from the public and the remainder of the day hours shall be utilized by taking testimcny of witnesses from New Hampshire Yankee Electric Corporation.
The evening hours.shall be devoted to taking statements and comments from the public.
Additional testimony from witnesses of New Hampshire Yankee shall be presented on March 4,,
1988.
Further hearing dates and the location fo:: further hearings will be announced at the conclusion of the hearings on March 4, 1988.

l The hearings are pursuant to the authority granted the NDFC by provisions of RSA 162-F:19 et seq. and will be I
conducted in accordance with t he provisions of RSA 541 A:16.
I The purpose of this proceeding is to establish a nuclear decommissioning fund in the office of the State Treasurer for the Seabrook Station nuclear plant.
RSA 162-F:19 I.
The purpose of the public hearings in this proceeding is for the NDFC to receive information on funding requirements of the nuclear decommissioning fund to be established for the Seabrook Station Unit I at Seabrook, New Hampshire.
RSA 162-F:21.
New Hampshire Yankee Electric Corporation shall give notice of these hearings by causing a copy of this notice to be published at least twice in a newspaper having general circulation in that portion of the State in rhich operations are proposed to be conducted and a newspaper having state-wide circulation, the last such publication to be no later than February 18, 1988, said publication to be designated in an affidavit to be made on a copy of this notice and filed with this committee on or before March 1, 1988.
New Hampshire Yankee Electric Corporation shall also post a copy of this notice of the time and place of hearings at two appropriate public places in Seabrook, New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Yankee Electric Corporation shall further notify the Attorney General's Office, the Consumer Advocate, the New l
