4-5 of Details, Item 4.c.
Absence of Attachments to Posted Work Permit Specified work permit attachments were afi'ixed to the noted work permit during the inspector's visit.
The Maintenance Department, Facilities Engineering, Equipment Engineering and Tool Engineering groups shall be reminded of their responsibilities under MDP 107 and similar procedures in documented awareness meetings to be completed by December 1, 1978.
However, we do not consider this example to be a violation of our license conditions.
The attachments are related to general safety items and not to nuclear safety in the context of referenced para. 2.5.1 of our NRC license.
Please delete this example from Appendix A.

5 of Details, Item 4.d.
Parking of Fuel Carts (1)
Corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved.
As noted, immediate action was taken to park the unattended storage carts in authorized locations.
The carts were in-advertently left unattended in a working position during a work break.

l Material Handlers and other employees moving fuel shall be reminded of their responsibilities under "The Material Handling Rules Manual" in documented awareness meetings to be completed by December 1, 1978.

Color Code Change Cleanup (1)
Corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved.
The route card was signed off at the time of the NRC in-spection by the Health Physics representative.
As demon-strated to the inspector, all tests had been correctly made and reported except for oversigning of the inappropriate N/A designation made by the issuer of the route card.

Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further items of potential non-compliance Manufacturing personnel shall be reinstructed in proper methods to fill out " color code change cleaning" route cards so that "N/A" is not inserted at inappropriate operations.
H.P.
Tech-nicians shall be instructed to question apparently incorrect information and to do what is known to be correct procedure.
As noted the survey was performed, and acceptable results re-ported to shop supervision prior to work in the boxes.
Documented awareness meetings shall be held by December 1, 1978.

Emergency Door Access l
The temporary signs on the two doors noted have been removed and full access restored to the Chem Lab exit.
All emergency' doors'shall be appropriately labeled on both sides of each door,and maintained clear.
