UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION BEFORE THE ATOMIC SAFETY AND LICENSING BOARD In the Matter of X

X HOUSTON LIGHTING & POWER COMPANY X

Docket No. 50-466 X

(Allens Creek Nuclear Generating X

Station, Unit 1)

X MOTION FOR ORDER ESTABLISHING SCHEDULE The Board's order of October 24, 1978, scheduling a prehearing conference in this proceeding stated that, among the purposes of such conference, would be to " Establish a schedule for further actions in this proceeding."

This is consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.751a.

At the prehearing conference on November 17, 1978, the Chairman indicated that the establishment of a schedule would be undertaken following the entry of an order re-garding the admission of parties.

To facilitate the con-sideration of such a schedule, Applicant moves the Board for the entry of an order establishing a timetable for the proceeding in this matter consistent with the periods specified in the Appendix to this motion.

This motion is predicated on an assumption that the Board's order on the admission of parties accords, to one or more of the peti-tioners, status as a party-intervenor(s).

12 0 4 t) n a

The schedule proposed in the Appendix is consonant with the scope of the continued proceeding in this matter as reflected in the Board's Corrected Notice of Intervention Procedures.

Respectfully submitted, lW kA)/ //W J. /- rEo C
