NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF ADJUDICATORY EMPLOYEE Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. S 2.4 (1993), notice is hereby given that Mr. Rateb Abu-Eid, a Commission employee in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, has been appointed as a Commission adjudicatory employee and will provide advice to the Commission on issues concerning Louisiana Energy Services' application for construction and operation of the Claiborne Enrichment Center. Mr. Abu-Eid has not previously been engaged 2 in the performance of any investigative or litigating function in connection with this or any' factually-related proceeding.

Until such time as a final decision is issued in this matter, parties to the proceeding shall not communicate with Mr.

Abu-Eid with regard to the merits of this case.
