This refers to the special inspection conducteo by Mr. R. E. Oller, of this office on Octocer 27-29, 1980, of your facility at Lake City, Pennsylvania, associated with the manufacture of nuclear valves and :o the discussion of cur findings with you and memoers of your staff at the conclusien of :ne insp ecti on.
This inspection was :nade as a result of infonnation provided to tnis office by Region II of the Cffice of Inspection and Enforcement, relating to weignt dis-crepancies :nat have oeen identified in Copes Vulcan, Incorporated valves furn-ished to the Tennessee Valley Authority secuoyah Units 1 and 2 site.
The areas examined during the inspection and cur findings are discussac in the enclosed report. Witnin these areas, :ne inspection consisted of an examination of precedures and representative recorcs and inter /iews witn perscnnel.
