This letter is in response to a request for statistics on allegations concerning the Maine Yankee Nuclear Power Plant by Ms. Maureen Brown of your staff. The enclosed tables provide a breakdown of the allegations by source category for Maine Yankee for calendar year.s 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997 and a comparison of the number of allegations received by the NRC concerning nuclear power plants.
