Attached for your information and use is background material relating to the forthcoming meeting with the ACRS on November 2, 1978.
Please note that Item 7 has been aoded as a result of Proposed Rule (10 CFR Part 72), Licensing Requirements for the Storage of Spent Fuel in an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI), recently published for oublic comment.
Members of the ACRS have expressed an interest in the require-ments of this proposed rule and desire Commission guidance regardino the appropriateness of ACRS review and comment.
