In our submittal dated May 2, 1977, Revision 1 to PSAR, Sect, ion 17.1.1.1.2 j
we discussed the Quality Assurance Comittee.
The present Quality Assurance organization ~ handles all review, surveillancesand audit functions which were once assigned to.the Quality Assurance Committee. Additio.nally, the require-ments in 100FR50 Appendix B for regular review of status and adequacy of the Quality Assurance Program is covered ~by presentations and or reports submitted i
to the Vice President of Production & Engineering semi-annually..
Therefore;
'l we no longer feel the Quality Assurance Committee to be necessa'ry and as of the date of this letter have dissolved it.
