This letter is to inform you that the originally anticipated date of November 15, 1978, for issuance of the Safety Evaluation and Environmental Impact Appraisal for the spent fuel pool proceeding has been significantly delayed.
Due to the need for additional information, it is now believed that the Staff's review will not be complete until early or mid-January, 1979.
Upon notice of a more firm date for issuance of the SE and EIA, I will promptly notify you.
In light of this information, the Board may wish to modify the present schedule for submission of suninary disposition motions.
