Dear Mr. Ulbak:
l Your letter of September 29, 1978 inquired about case histories of
- e accidents in industrial radiography and testing of comercial available l
alarm dosimeters.
I am enclosing a copy of Part 34 of our regulations including Appendix A and a copy of Regulatory Guide 10.6. I am also including relevant portions of a draf t of a report including accident case histories which the NRC will publish in the next few months.
We are still developing our recommendations on alarm dosimeters. In the meantime I can send you some preliminary test results and a draft Health Physics Society Standards Committee standard on performance specifications for alarm dosimeters.
