Updated FSAR, Revision 5 Gentlemen:
As discussed by telephone March 9, 1988 between Mr. Bill McNeil, NRC, Region IV, and Mr. Phil Tomlinson, Manager, OA Division, the following Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) Appendix B, Revision 5 sections were identified as requiring clarification:
1.
Section B.5.1.4.,
Nuclear Production Division, Quality Assurance Related Responsibilities need additional information to address all functions in section B.5.1.4 of Rev. 4, such as review of controlled work procedures, security, etc.
2.
Section B.5.2.1, Program Description (2nd paragraph) indicate that these items are controlled by the QA Program and referenced as such throughout Appendix B, and that QA Program controls are not limited to just these items.
3.
Section B.5.15.1, Documenting, Nonconforming Items - clarify the use of Station Service Requests (SSR's) in addition to Nonconformance Reports, and describe SSR trending.
