COMANCllE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 DEFICIENCIES IN STEAM GENERATOR CUBICLE STEEL PLATFORM FRAMING AND PRESSURIZER SUPPORT SLAB SDAR:
CP-87-131 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On' February 5, 1988, we notified you by our letter logged TXX-88177 of a deficiency involving unacceptable subcompartment pressurization effects resulting from a postulated pressurizer surge line break which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
This report is sutmitted to update our corrective action completion schedule.
In our latest report on this issue (TXX-88177), we noted an analysis of the pressurizer surge line was being performed to eliminate the need to consider the dynamic effects associated with the postulated break.
This analysis would be in accordance with the modified General Design Criterion (GOC) 4, using leak-before-break methodology.
The completion of the corrective actions for Unit I has been rescheduled for completion by October 1,1988.
The analysis for Unit 2 will be completed prior to Unit 2 Het Functional Test.
