O Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION College of Wooster License No. SNM-113 Based on the inspection conducted on September 11, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC require-ments, as noted below. The following items are deficiencies.
1.
Condition 11 of your license requires in part that records of leak test results for your plutonium-beryllium source be kept in units of microcuries.
Contrary to this requirement, as of September 11, 1978, results of leak tests were not kept in units of microcuries.
2.
10 CFR 20.203(f), requires that each container of licensed material shall bear a durable, clearly visible label identifying the radio-active contents.
Contrary to these requirements, as of September 11, 1978, you f ailed to label the steel drum in which you store the plutonium-beryllium source with a clearly visible label identifying the radioactive contents.
3.
10 CFR 19.11(a) and (b), requires that current copies of Part 19, Part 20, license conditions, documents incorporated into the license, license amendments and operating procedure be posted, or that a notice describing these documents and where they may be examined be posted.
Contrary to this requirement, on the day of the inspection, September 11, 1978, neither the documents nor the notice were posted.
