I spoke to Rory Grube to inquire about the status of the revised Site !
Characterization Plan and the Remediation Plan. Rory told me.that the report l was completed, but that errors were detected in the database during the final 0A check. - Apparently the smear data MDA is incorrect in the database. These !
errors are thought to be the result of poor employee performance on the part of an employee who was released from servfce. Rory informed me that the original data collected is fine, and that the errors occurred when the data was keyed into the database for use in analysis. j Sevenson estimates that it will take approximately two weeks to' re-create the database and another week to complete the report, So, if all'goes well f ;
Sevenson should submit the final reports to NRC by the end of June 1997.
