Dear Mr. Gammill,
We have received your Request for Additional Information on H-451 graphite, dated September 19, 1978. We intend to respond to your ques-tions in two parts. The first part of our response will be sent to you about October 27, 1978. The second part will be provided about November 24, 1978.
We find that with some mitigating action on our part we can acconrno-date your proposed mid-January date for the completion of the H-451 review.
However, this accommodation will entail placing an order for the raw mate-rials for H-327 with the option of cancelling that order (at a financial penalty) w'aen we have approval for use of H-451. Any further delay on H-451 wili increase the amount of wasted resources, both financial and man-power.. our cooperation in assuring no further slippage in this review schedule will be greatly appreciated.
On July 14, 1978, we submitted a request for approval, together with an SAR, to use TH 02 in future Fort St. Vrain fuel. Although you have not acknowledged receiving that request, it is our understanding you have this letter. We would appreciate receiving some acknowledgement of receipt, together with an indication of. schedule.- Lack of action on this item is also impacting our manufacturing schedule adversely.
