ment consists of chany:s to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated June 27, 1978 and supplemental information dated September 14, 1978, and September 28,1978, The amendment changes the Technical Specifications related to the maximum authorized power level for the Ford Nuclear Reactor when 10-plate fuel assemblies from the pennsylvania State University Research Reactor are utilized in the east, west and south fringe locations of the reactor core.
Some of your proposed Technical Specifications have been modified to meet our requirements. These modifications have been discussed with and accepted by your staff.
A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.
