Zircale" Cladding Program Review The next Zircalo; ladding Program Review will be held at Battelle Columbus Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio, on August 22 and 23,1978, hosted by A. A. Bauer.
Progress on the NRC Zircaloy Cladding Research programs will be reported and several new models for MATPR0 and FRAP will be discussed during the technical sessions on August 22, 1978.
On the morning of August 23, 1978, the Modelers-Experimenters Work-shop will be concerned with an open, audience-participation discussion of ideas and thoughts on what additional property data are needed on Zircaloy and how accurately should it be determined.
In the afternoon I
of August 23, 1978, there will be a tour of the hot-cell facilities available for those that wish to take it.
An agenda is enclosed.
l Thirty rooms have been set aside at the Columbus Hilton Hotel on l
Olentangy River Road (near BCL) for reservations for the meeting attendees.
Please call our host, A. A. Bauer, at 614-424-4271 (commercial) or FTS 976-4271 no later than August 15,1978, to give him the name of your representative attending the meeting. Yes may, of course, make your reservations directly with the Columbus Hilton, and should mention that you are attending the BCL meeting on August 22 and 23,1978.
The technical sessions will be held in Conference Room "G", Building 11, Battelle Columbus Laboratories, 505 King Avenue, starting at 9:00am.
The Workshop will be held in the Shelter House, West Jefferson Site (BCL Hot-Cells) starting at 9:00am, August 23.
Lunch will be avail-able at the Shelter House. Specific travel directions, maps, and trans-portation arrangements to the West Jefferson Site will be available during the technical sessions on August 23.
Limousine service is available to and from the airport, but rental car may be more satis-factory.
The workshop on August 23 is open to all who wish to attend.
I do request that all attendees be prepared to participate informally in discussing their ideas on our needs for more data beyond that being obtained by the present programs of NRC and EPRI.
