Subject;VallecitosNuclearCentsr(DocketNos.50-70and70-7h)

Dear Mr. Hendrio I am very concerned with the efforts that General' Electric is making to get the Valecitos' facility reopened, This letter expresces my oppasition to such a move.

The Center is clearly built on a.geplogically unstable site. The problem of containing nuclear poisons from this site are therefore much more severe than from any other stable site. The probability of a serious accident during the life tir.e of the' facility is too high. To insist

i. hat the use of that site for hedgling and storage of nuclear poisons enould continue, that we. should be willing to run the risk of poisoning a hundred ge lerations,is the hight of:(responsibility.

r_ The GETR and the plutonium laboratories should be shut down per anently.

E Discharge of tritium into the ground water must be utopped irrediately.

Continued introduction of these materials into land or marine biocycles is a callous disregard of all life.

Please make this letter part of the NRC relisensing record s the above Docket numbers.

Sincerely

~j-
