Dear Mr. Kingsley:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. R. Shell of your staff and myself concerning a meeting which has been scheduled for May 14, 1997, at 10:30 a.m.
The location of the meeting will be at the NRC Region II Office, 61 Forsyth Street SW, Suite 23T85, Atlanta GA, 30303.
The aurpose of this meeting is to discuss the Operational Perforrtance of the Sequoyah Jnits, including performance during the Unit 1 Cycle 8 refueling outage. This meeting is an open meeting as per " Staff Meetings Open to the Public: Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994: 59 FR 48340).
