ACRS COMMENTS ON REGULATORY GUIDE 1.99, REVISION 2. "RADIATION EMBRITTLEMENT OF REACTOR VESSEL MATERIALS" DATED MARCH 1988 During the 335th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safe-guards, March 10-12, 1988, we discussed the subject Pegulatory Guide.
Our Subcommittec on Metal Components met on September 4, 1983; July 24, 1987; and February 18, 1988 to consider this Guide. We also had the benefit of discussions with the NRC Staff and its consultants. We pre-viously commented on this matter in a report dated September 17, 1985.
We concur in the Regulatory Position of this Guide.
