Dear Ms. Vacca:

Doylestown Hospital wishes to renew license number SNM-1765 for possession and use of plutonium-238 powered pacemakers.

We wish to be authorized for 10 pacemakers containing 2.10 grams each (21.0 grams total). These pacemakers are purchased from tiedtronic, Inc. This is consistant with the existing license.

We plan to continue to implant nuclear pacemakers and follow those patients which have previously implanted pacemakers under this license.

Explanted pacemakers will be returned to the manufacturer for proper disposal.

The following physicians have been pre \\iously licensed and wish to remain on the renewed license:

William fionteith, M.D.

Joseph McGarvey, M.D.

The renewal fee has been omitted since the hospital has an additional NRC 1icense (37-13232-01).

Sincerely.
