Gentlemen:
The reference 1 letter identified two (2) concerns in the area of Operational Safeguards Response Evaluation. This letter and its attachments constitutes Comed's reply.
Zion undertook prompt and broad corrective actions including numerous drills and exercises to resolve the concerns stated in the referenced letter. The attachment to this letter provides a j
summary of our actions taken.
Additionally, Zion Station.:uccessfully demonstrated its ability to meet the Design Basis Threat in these areas during an O.S.R.E. follow-up inspection conducted on April 28-29,1997.
