s CONFIRMATORY ORDER MODIFYING LICENSE (EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY)
By EN 88-02 dated January 20, 1988 the Comission was notified of the intent of OE to issue an Order Modifying License, Effective Imediately. This is to inform the Comission that a Confirnatory Order Modifying License, effective inrrediately, is being issued today to Georgia Institute of Technology. The Confirmatory Order Mcdifying License confirms the licensee's comitment to continue the suspension of all reactor operations until the licensee has resolved all safety questiens to its satisfaction and the NRC has approved, in writing, the resumption of operations. The conditions of the January 20, 1988 Order renain in effect and are not modified by this Confirnatory Order.
Under the terms of the Order, the licensee or any other person who has an interest adversely affected by this Order may, within 20 days of the date of receipt of the Order, file a written answer under oath or affirmation and may also request a hearing.
The State of Georgia will be rotified.
