Amendment to Application for Two-Year Extension of the Preliminary Design Approval for RESAR-41
Dear Mr. Heltemes:
Enclosed are sixty (60) copies of Amendment 25 to RESAR-41, the Reference Safety Analysis Report documenting the Westinghouse 3800 MWt Nuclear Steam Supply System. Amendment 25 is submitted in response to the December 21, p 1978 request for additional information f rom Mr. P. O'Riley of the NRC l V Standardization Branch to Mr. D. H. Rawlins of Westinghouse, Standard l Plant Licensing, concerning Appendix 38 of RESAR-41. Appendix 3B l addresses the regulatory matters in Category I, II, III and IV, according to the Commission's August 22, 1978, policy statement on standardization.
Westinghouse submitted Appendix 3B as Amendment 24 on December 15, 1978, with a request for a two-year extension of PDA-3, the Preliminary Design Approval for RESAR-41.
Amendment 25 provides the additional information requested, which is
, interface in nature, for specific Appendix 3B regulatory matters that are not in Westinghouse scope.
