This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. T. M. Tongue of this office on August 21, 1978, of activities at Nooter Corporation authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 24-03783-01 and to the discussion o,f our findings with you, Mr. David Center and Mr. Dennis Frazier at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compli-ance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A.
De inspection showed that action had been taken to correct the identified noncompliance and to prevent recurrence.
Consequently, no reply to this noncompliance is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter at this time.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
