This letter transmits the documented results of a special NRC inspection of "
your employee screening program that was conducted at your facility in Moorestown, New Jersey, by Messrs. W. K. Lancaster and T. P. Madden of this office on December 30, 1987. The findings were di' cussed with you and members s
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection on that date.
The purpose of the inspection was to examine # the corrective actions taken as a result of deficiencies identified during an audit of your employee screening program conducted in February,1987 by the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Quality Assurance Department. The areas examined during the inspection and our-findings are discussed in the enclosed report.
The inspectors concluded, through an audit of representative records and interviews, that Hydro Nuclear Services, Inc. was complying with its Employee Screening Procedure (as approved on July 20,1987) and that the deficiencies identified during the February, 1987 audit had been corrected. No violations or non-conformances were identified.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
