COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 EQUIPMENT CONDUli INTERFACE SDAR: CP-85-39 (SUPPLEMENTALREPORT)
Gentlemen:
On January 11, 1988, we notified you via our report logged TXX-88035 of a reportable deficiency involving conduit which was not installed in accordance with design documents.
The purpose of this letter is to provide estimated completion dates for the remaining two corrective action items required to resolve the conduit-to-equipment interfaces outside of the vendor approved entry area. Our last report was logged TXX-88214 dated February 22, 1988.
Specifically, in report logged TXX-88035 dated January 11, 1988, three corrective action items were specified to correct the deficient conduit-to-equipment interface condition. As stated in our last report, logged TXX-88214, Specification 2323-ES-100 has been modified to correct the deficient condition in the specification.
Unit I repair / rework of the affected cabinets and correction of the equipment qualification documents will be completed by May 15, 1988.
The required Unit 2 corrective action will be completed prior to Unit 2 fuel load.
